2024 Jim Stormer/WSFA Memorial Scholarship Application Form

This scholarship is open to anyone who is interested in continuing education in the fire service; however, priority will be given to those applicants who are or whose family members are members of the WSFA in good standing.

1. The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must plan to begin his or her first year of college training in the field of firefighting in the fall immediately after receipt of the scholarship.
2. The candidate must have maintained a C+ (2.5) or better grade average. Preference will be given to students who require financial aid and who have not received many other scholarships.
3. An update or progress report will be required from each winning applicant following the completion of the
first year of schooling. Failure to produce a progress report will disqualify the applicant from scholarships to further their education.
